The way you lose weight is by moving. Simple is that. This could be done by the obvious, walking or running daily. You could also park at the back of the parking lot when you go to the store, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Every little bit helps.

Tip 2: Track Your Food

This is easier then you think, especially with smart phones. You can get a free app that lets you track what you eat and how many calories you are eating. For example if you need to eat 2000 calories a day to maintain your weight, then try eating 1700 calories a day and walking a little more. I guarantee you will lose weight!

Tip 3: Get a Support System

Whether you have a friend who wants to join you in your journey or by rewarding yourself once you lose X amount of pounds.

For the friends, make sure they really support and encourage, but also keep you accountable. Stay away from the haters!

If you go with the later option, try a smaller reward for 3-5 pounds and a larger reward for 10-20 lbs. A short and long term goal, this way you see the success and get a rewards to stay motivated!
